- Payment Policy
- Credit cards - Visa, Mastercard, and Discover - are accepted by phone.
- Credit cards - Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express (via PayPal), and PayPal - are accepted by our website.
- Cashier's checks and money orders drawn on major financial institutions are accepted with a five business day hold.
- Personal checks and cashier's checks from regional financial institutions are accepted with a ten business day hold.
- Discounts - discounts are offered periodically. Join our newsletter and follow us on social media for access to these discounts. NSXCA members receive a 5% discount on regularly priced items up to $100. Discounts do not apply to other promotions (greatest discount applies) or clearance items. Members must provide their membership card by e-mail prior to placing an order. Discounts can not be retroactively applied.
- Purchases for gift cards over $500.00 require the product to be shipped to the credit card holder's address.
- Shipping & Delivery
- Orders for items in stock ship by the next business day.
- Orders for items not in stock will receive an e-mail confirmation of estimated ship date by the next business day.
- You can confirm stock status by calling 480-894-6277 or by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Please inquiry on stock status before purchasing if time is the essence. Once a purchase is made online we can not cancel an order due to stock status if the customer has not first inquired on stock status.
- Certain products are special order. Items not in stock will typically take 2-6 weeks to arrive in the United States depending on the item.
- Credit card providers require that all orders be shipped with signature confirmation required to the billing address. This is a required policy of your credit card provider and we can not deviate from this policy. For orders less than $1,000 - ScienceofSpeed will ship to a different address than the billing address if the customer adds the alternate shipping address to the credit card provider's records. This requires manual verification and will add at least one extra day to order processing time.
- Please inspect contents. Damage, or missing parts must be reported to ScienceofSpeed within 7 days of receipt.

domestic: USPS Priority Mail (for shipments less than $200), UPS Ground, UPS 3-day, UPS 2-day, UPS overnight, Freight
international: USPS Priority Mail (for shipments less than $200), UPS EMS, UPS Expedited (3-5 business day), UPS Express (1-2 business days), Freight
- International brokerage & duties: ScienceofSpeed has negotiated discounted rates. All shipping quoted includes brokerage (the cost to process the goods through customers). Duties (local tax) are not included and payable by customer.
- Any shipments returned to ScienceofSpeed by shipper due to non-delivery are subject to redelivery costs or restocking fees if the order is canceled.
- Certain products are built-to-order and require additional processing time.
- Shipping insurance is included in the cost of the shipping. If an item is damaged in transit, the customer must contact ScienceofSpeed within 2 business days of receipt of the item. If an item is lost by the shipper, please contact ScienceofSpeed. Your item is insured against loss. If an item is lost, the carriers required 30 days to retrieve the item.
- For products purchased online, shipping may be need to be calculated manually if an online quote is not available.
- Some items may be drop shipped directly from our vendors in the case we are out of stock on an item.
- Return Policy
- New and unused items in original unopened packaging may be returned within 30 days from delivery date unless otherwise noted (does not apply to special order or built-to-order items). A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Special order items require non-refundable deposits. Special order items can not be canceled after purchase.
- If an order is placed on our website or over the phone, and a payment by credit card or PayPal is made, and you cancel before the item is shipped, we will deduct the 3% credit card fee that we were charged to process your order.
- No refunds on special order and built-to-order items. Please inquiry before purchasing if you have a question on if this policy applies to your product.
- If an order is placed on our website or over the phone for a regular stocking item, and you cancel before the item is shipped, we will deduct the 3% credit card fee from your refund that we were charged to process your order.
- Deposits placed on built-to-order or custom made products are non-refundable.
- Damaged product must be reported to ScienceofSpeed within 7 days of receipt.
- Returns can only be made by contacting us for an RMA number. Please e-mail [email protected] to request a number.
- Installed, opened, painted, scratched, or otherwise damaged items may not be returned.
- Refunds will be returned to the original payment method. In the case that this is not available, a check will be sent in US dollars.
- Requests for replacement checks will incur a stop-payment fee imposed by our bank.
- Items on sale, clearance, or used items are non-returnable & non-refundable.
- Service Department Policies
ScienceofSpeed takes great pride in providing a full-service facility to repair and maintain your vehicle. The following policies apply to the ScienceofSpeed Service Department:
- ScienceofSpeed will prepare an estimate for service work requested by the customer.
- A non-refundable deposit secures parts and labor to complete the service.
- ScienceofSpeed will request authorization for any additional work related to the initial repair where the additional cost exceeds $200.00.
- ScienceofSpeed offers complimentary storage of the customer's vehicle for the duration of the repair. The storage fee for vehicles left by the customer after the repair or diagnosis is completed will be $40/day.
